Bulbasuar is one of the first three starter Pokémon, along with Charmander and Squirtle. Bulbasaur is the lowest of three evolutions for his type; he evolves into Ivysaur and then his final evolution is Venusaur. As well as being one of the original Pokémon in the games, Bulbasaur is one is one of Ash’s main Pokémon in the first season of the anime.
