Chris Rock is best known as a comedian and actor known for his hilarious stand up comedy and iconic roles with Saturday Night Live. Born in South Carolina, Chris Rock started doing stand up comedy in the mid 1980s and began receiving small rolls in television shows like Miami Vice. By 1990 he was alongside comedians Chris Farley, Adam Sandler and David Spade starring in the series Saturday Night Live, where he received national attention. After his success in the comedy world, Rock began starring in movies, one of the most notable being Lethal Weapon 4.
