The Coconut Palm (Cocos nucifera) is a species of palm tree that is part of the Arecaceae family and is the only living species of the genus Cocos. The Coconut Palm is native to the Central Indo-Pacific region of the world as it thrives in moist and hot climates and is typically found along tropical seashores. The Coconut Palm is most known for the fruit it produces, the coconut, and is sometimes as the Tree of Life since it provides various resources.

The Coconut Palm grows long pinnate leaves. The Coconut fruit and seed is a large drupe with various layers ranging from a yellow-green to yellow-brown color. The Coconut Palm is not in danger of extinction. The Coconut Palm often represents warm weather and beach vacations. Coconut Palms can produce up to 75 fruits per year that do not attract wildlife, but is suitable for human consumption.
