Collins Glass

Set of dimensioned drawings of the Collins Glass labeled with height and diameter in plan and elevation
Description
Description

The Collins glass is separated from other similar-looking glasses by its tall and narrower cylindrical sides and high capacity. The advantage of this tall structure is that it keeps drinks chilled and easy dilution with lots of ice or another mixer. It has a thick base and gets its name from the Tom Collins cocktail.
