Ditto, known in Japan as Metamon, is a normal type Pokémon and was introduced in the first generation of games. Ditto is a purple-pink creature with an ambiguous form with two protrusions that it uses as arms. Ditto is able to transform into any creature or object and mimic that creature’s abilities. Ditto does not have any evolutions. Due to its ability to transform, Ditto gets along with almost any creature, except for other Dittos. Dittos are sometimes unable to transform their faces and if they start laughing, they lose their transformation completely. There are also “shiny” Dittos and these Dittos are blue instead of purple.
