Elle Driver is a character in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill film series. She works for Bill as part of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad - a group of elite assassins - and goes by the codename California Mountain Snake. She is recognisable by her eyepatch over a missing eye, which was gouged out during her training with kung fu master Pai Mei. Elle is arrogant, selfish and cruel. She kills for pleasure. She is a skilled fighter, especially in hand to hand combat. Elle Driver is played by Daryl Hannah.
