Description
Description

A Facehugger is the second life stage of the Xenomorph, an extraterrestrial creature that finds its way onto the ship Nostromo. The Facehugger evolves from an Ovomorph, which waits until a host organism is sensed nearby. It attaches itself to the host, and implants a Chestburster, which later bursts out of the host’s chest and develops to a fully formed Xenomorph. The Facehuggers spit acid in order to gain access to a host, making them vulnerable for implantation. After implantation occurs, a Facehugger’s purpose is complete, and they die.
