She served for two years in the Israel Defence Forces, and also studied law and international relations. She is known for her role as Wonder Woman in the DC extended universe franchise, rising to fame in the solo film about the female superhero in 2017. She was listed as one of Time’s top 100 influential people in 2018. She is married to Yaron Varsano, a real estate developer. They have two children.
