H. G. Wells, also known as Herbert George Wells, was an English writer known for exploring various genres and writing novels, short stories, social commentaries, history, satire, biography as well as autobiographies. His most notable works include Ann Veronica, The Outline of History, The Time Machine, and The Invisible Man. H. G. Wells received his education from the Royal College of Science in England. His writing became known for being forward-thinking and exploring the futurist genre of literature that described utopian works, aircraft, tanks, space travel, and nuclear weapons. H. G. Wells died on August 12, 1946 at the age of 79.
