Pierce Brosnan was the Bond of the 90s. He first appeared on our screens in 1995’s GoldenEye which was a commercial and critical success. Brosnan went on to appear in three more films; Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), The World Is Not Enough (1999) and Die Another Day (2002). Brosnan received mush praise for his stylish portrayal of the infamous spy and is credited with the revival of the franchise after its hiatus. He is in some ways the quintessential Bond; he displays a cool elegance but without the earlier traits of male dominance. Pierce Brosnan was succeeded in the role by English actor Daniel Craig.
