Most well known for his television series, The Naked Chef, Jamie Oliver is a British chef whose show and platform on healthier eating for children garnered him both fame and praise. Premiering in 1999, The Naked Chef was credited for successfully encouraging men to cook more due to Jamie’s style and personality as seen on screen. A couple years before the takeoff of his television career, Jamie Oliver held the position of sous-chef at The River Cafe where he was noticed by the BBC after making an appearance in a food documentary. Jamie Oliver launched his very own chain of restaurants and published several books, placing him as second-best-selling British author just behind J.K. Rowling.
