Joker (Jack Nicholson)

The Joker is played by Jack Nicholson in the 1989 film Batman. The story follows the crimes of mob enforcer Jack Napier, who creates a murderous alter ego known as The Joker. The Joker’s appearance resembles a dandyish clown figure who wears a purple suit and hat, has a chalk white face and a wide, painted on smile. His recognisable appearance is to mask Jack’s altered appearance, scarred from chemicals and botched plastic surgery. The Joker becomes the nemesis of superhero Batman after a string of brutal mass murders and an attempt to seize control of the city.

The Joker, as portrayed by Jack Nicholson in Batman (1989), is 5 foot 10 inches (1.78 m) tall.
