Jules Verne collaborated with the publisher Pierre-Jules Hetzel that led to the creation of the adventure novel series, Voyages Extraordinaires. Jules Verne has become the second most-translated author in the world since 1979. Jules Verne died on March 24, 1905 at the age of 77.
