Nicole Kidman is a Hollywood actress. She was born in Honolulu in Hawaii but was raised in Sydney, Australia. She began her film career as a teenager in the Australian film industry. In 1995, she was cast opposite Val Kilmer in the blockbuster success, Batman Forever. Throughout the 90s and 2000s she cemented herself as a leading actress, starring in Portrait of a Lady, Eyes Wide Shut, and the hugely popular Moulin Rouge. She won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Virginia Woolf in the film, The Hours. She has been married twice, and has four children.
