Collection of drawings of the Nintendo 2DS XL with height, width, and depth dimensions

The Nintendo 2DS XL, the sixth system of the Nintendo 3DS family, was released in July of 2017. It features an 82% bigger screen than that of the other 2DS systems, an easy fold design, and compatible gaming (can play Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS games).

Unlike the Nintendo 2DS, the Nintendo 2DS XL includes a C stick and ZL/ZR buttons as well as a power saving mode. In basic summary, it is the combination of the 2DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL made more ergonomically and aesthetically. The Nintendo 2DS XL is still in worldwide production as of 2020.

The Nintendo 2DS XL has a closed height of 3.4” (86.4 mm), open height of 6.4” (162.6 mm), width of 6.3” (160 mm), depth of .85” (21.5 mm), and approximate weight of 9.2 oz (.26 kg). The upper display size of the Nintendo 2DS XL is 4.88” (124 mm) with a resolution of 400 x 240, while the lower size is 4.18” (106.2 mm) with a resolution of 320 x 240 px.
