Description
Description

Pablo Picasso is considered one of the most important artists of all time and is considered one of the creators of the Cubist movement, alongside Georges Braque. Cubism is a style that seeks to represent the three-dimensional within two-dimensional art forms. Picasso utilized these Cubist theories to create intense and alluring drawings and paintings, that first appear abstract but then reveal hidden representations of people and places.  His own avant-garde style led him to becoming one of the most influential artists of the early twentieth century. Some of his most famous works include Les Demoiselles d’Avignon, The Weeping Woman, and Guernica.
