Q is a well-known character from the Star Trek franchise and has appeared in the television show, feature films, video games and comics. Q appears as a humanoid male but is in fact a powerful, immortal entity from an extra-dimensional plane of existence known as Q Continuum. The character of Q crops up throughout history, in different forms and to serve different purposes. He can disguise himself at will. In the 24th century, he is stripped of his powers by the Q continuum, and seeks refuge on the Starfleet’s Enterprise, where he provides integral intelligence for the Federation.
