Recognized for his reinvention and reinterpretation of Scandinavian cuisine, René Redzepi is a Danish chef and owner of the restaurant Noma. The opening of Noma was met with awards and accolades, being voted best restaurant in the world by Restaurant magazine from 2010-2011 as well as in the year 2014. René Redzepi’s culinary career came full circle as he began with classical training at a Michelin starred restaurant and ended up earning 2 Michelin stars for Noma. His approach to cuisine focuses on foraging for research, locally sourcing, and experimentation to get the most our of his ingredients.
