Saoirse Ronan is an Irish actress who is widely considered as one of the most talented of her generation. Her appearance in the 2007 film Atonement as the young Briony Tallis—alongside Kiera Knightley and James McAvoy—is considered her breakout performance. She has gone on to appear in several high-grossing films, including Brooklyn (2015), On Chesil Beach (2017), Mary Queen of Scots (2018) and LadyBird (2017). She received an Academy Award nomination for her portrayal of Jo March in Greta Gerwig’s 2019 adaptation of Little Women.
