Tom Ford is an American fashion designer as well as a filmmaker who is the founder of the fashion label, Tom Ford. Tom Ford has also served as the creative director at Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent and is credited with reviving both brands. He started his fashion label in 2006, initially with cosmetics and menswear, and then extending the label to include his signature womenswear signature designs. The label was created as a luxury brand intended for the well-traveled customer with disposable income. Tom Ford has dressed various celebrities such as Anne Hathaway, Tom Hanks, and the former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama.
