Willem Dafoe is an American actor. He began his film career in the early 1980s appearing in several acclaimed films including Platoon (1986), Martin Scorsese’s The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) and Wild At Heart (1990). One of his most memorable performances is in the 2002 Spiderman, where he portrays both the human and monster sides to infamous Marvel villain, The Green Goblin. His recent appearances include The Florida Project (2017), Aquaman (2018) and The Lighthouse (2019). He is set to appear in Wes Anderson’s upcoming film The French Dispatch (2020). He has been nominated for four Academy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards.
