Description
Description

The Witch-King of Angmar was the leader of the Nazgûl (also known as the Black Riders), who were the much-feared ring servants of Sauron. The Nazgûl were nine recipients of the nineteen Rings of Power, powerful lords and warriors of men. They became enslaved by the rings and to Sauron, and their fates became interwoven with Sauron’s: as Sauron’s power grew, so did the Nazgûl. The Witch-King of Angmar ruled over the realm of Angmar for over six hundred years, returning to Mordor to lead Sauron’s armies in the War of the Ring.
