Albert Einstein was a German-American physicist known for developing the theory of relativity, which discusses the law of gravitation and his mass-energy formula E=mc². Born in 1879, Einstein grew up excelling at both math and physics, starting at an early age teaching himself various mathematical levels and theorems. He found recognition as a leading scientist upon his graduation from schooling in Zurich and later received the 1921 Nobel Prize for his discovery and explanation of the photoelectric effect. Albert Einstein’s large amount of intellectual achievements led him to be considered as one of the most influential physicists in history.
