Description
Description

The Barbet is a medium-sized French water dog. They have been used to retrieve waterfowl in the marshes, wetlands, and estuaries in France, and they also have been used in other various capacities like as working dogs and companion dogs. Physically, the Barbet has a long curly coat that is entirely black, black and white, or brown; their webbed feet and thick wooly coats help them swim in cold water. They are known to be friendly, joyful, obedient, and intelligent, and as a result, they are great with families and children. As sporting dogs, they require a moderate amount of exercise, and they love being outdoors.
