Barry Sanders is a former football player regarded as the best runner because of his speed and agility. He spent his football career in the National Football League (NFL) for Detroit Lions as a running back, becoming NFL Offensive Player of the Year on two occasions. Barry led the league four times in rushing yards, making him the greatest running backs and most elusive runner in football's history. He played for the Oklahoma State football team in college, winning the Heisman award and earning the All-American award. He was admitted into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame, College Football Hall of Fame, Kansas Sports Hall of Fame, Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame, and Pro Football Hall of Fame for his outstanding achievements.
