Like most gymnasts, Bart Conner started gymnastics at a young age, winning titles such as the U.S. Junior National Championships and U.S. Gymnastics Federation All-Around championship. Today, he is the most decorated American retired Olympic gymnast with more honor than medals. Bart owns two gold medals won while with the U.S. men's gymnastic team in parallel bars and all-around. He has received the Congressional Gold Medal besides being inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame, United States Olympic & Paralympic (USOC) Hall of Fame, Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame, and USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame for his gymnastic achievements.
