Batman, also known as Bruce Wayne, is a fictional vigilante and reluctantly pure-hearted hero in the DC Comics universe. As with most Batman stories, Bruce Wayne’s parents are murdered in a mugging outside a theater, but in this adaptation the murderer is the future Joker.
Using technology such as the Batmobile, and Batsuit, partnered with his own fighting skill, Bruce Wayne fights Gotham’s rampant crime, and inevitably finds the Joker his nemesis. In this version, he falls in love with Vicki Vale, who he rescues in the final battle with the Joker.
