Edward Michael Grylls, better known as Bear Grylls, is a British adventurer and television presenter who is considered one of the most well known faces of survival. He had a passion for discovery from a young age, having an innate curiosity about the exploration of new places. He garnered attention after taking off on several adventures, becoming more widely known for his Emmy Award-nominated television series Man vs. Wild where he showed viewers means of survival after being dropped in various locations. From there, Grylls went on to be involved with other series following the same wilderness survival theme.
