Belgian Tervuren

Seated and standing side and front elevation drawings of the Belgian Tervuren dog breed
Description
Description

Insatiable work drive, alert and observant! The Belgian Tervuren is a dog full of life, hence the need to be kept busy every day. The dog is dressed in an elegant muscular frame, thick double coat, and black mask. The coat furnishing around the neck is gushier, especially in males. The outer coat usually has long, straight, abundant guard hairs with relative harshness and well-fittings. Each dog variety is differentiated by coat and color type. Rather than move horizontally, the Belgian Tervuren prefers to oscillate, and its alertness and fullness of life means it can be trained for herding and also as a watchdog.
