Bow Pose is an intermediate, chest opening posture that stretches the whole front body. Bow Pose is known to help with posture and strengthen back muscles. Bow Pose is also known to help relieve stress, anxiety, fatigue and backaches. Yogis with back or neck issues use caution.

To do Bow Pose, begin lying face down on the mat arms along the body. Reach back to grab the ankles and lift the chest, keeping the thighs pulling in and the arms straight back. The belly will be the foundation here. Hold for a few seconds and release.
