Description
Description

The Caucasian Shepherd Dog has been categorized as a working dog since it takes its role as guardians with pleasure. This comes from their boldness, fearlessness, and self-confidence. They are native to countries in the Caucasus region and used for protecting properties and small animals against wild animals like wolves. There are two breeds: the Mountain type and the Steppe type. These are separated by coat length and body mass. The dog is also called the Caucasian Ovcharka, Kaukasische Schäferhund, or Kawkasky Owtscharka, having a well-muscular body, dark eyes, relatively small ears flopping forward, and long straight limbs. The whole body is luxuriously covered in a thick double coat with different colors.
