Chris Doyle is a former BMX rider known for his stylish riding style and personality. Chris Doyle started riding around the age of 11, turned pro at the age of 16 and throughout his career won 5 X Games medals. In April of 2018 he suffered a cardiac arrest that ultimately led to his decision to retire as a professional BMX rider in early 2020. Chris Doyle is still involved in the world of BMX sports as a commentator and currently has his own podcast. He was involved in the X Games industry for about 20 years and mainly focused in Dirt Riding.

BMX, or bicycle motocross, is a competitive sport involving the racing of BMX bicycles on a dirt course with possible obstacles. BMX bikes differ from conventional bikes, as most BMX bikes are equipped with shocks and a shorter tube on the frame, made from chrome steel to stay lightweight.
