Description
Description

The Clumber Spaniel is a spaniel type dog that was developed in the United Kingdom. Its name references its place of origin, Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire. They specialize in hunting in heavy cover. The breed is the largest of the spaniels; they are long and heavy bodied, and similar in shape to the Sussex Spaniel. It is characterized by its mournful and dopey expression, square nose and muzzle, large vine-leaf shaped ears, and a dense, weather-resistant coat. The most common colors variation is white with lemon, brown, or orange, markings around the eyes and at the base of the tail. They are known to be gentle, loyal, and affectionate.
