World number three in the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), Ding Ning from China prefers the left-handed or shakehand grip playing style. She possesses three World Championship titles, three World Cups, one Asian Cup, one Asian Cup Championship, and one World Junior Championship. Ding also possesses a gold medal received during the 2016 Summer Olympics in Women's singles matches and silver medals from the 2012 women's single summer Olympics. Besides, she is a one-time World Champion in Women's double, Asian Championship, China National Games singles champion, and Chinese National Games Mixed double champion.
