Description

False killer whales are marine animals grouped under the family Delphinidae, primarily inhabiting the warm tropical and temperate waters. To False killer whales, family and friendships are everything hence are extremely social preferring to swim and hunt in a large pod among themselves and even with other dolphin species. The animals are characterized by black or gray hue on their long slim bodies. Also, they spot sickle-shaped dorsal fin, narrow, short pointed flippers and lighter coating on their underside. They use echolocation for navigation and pursuing prey. False killer whales are whimsical, love to breach, and quickly adapt to life in captivity.
