The Florence Knoll Four Position Credenza features four drawers with removable partitions, two storage cabinets with adjustable shelving, and one file drawer. Designed by Florence Knoll Bassett, her credenzas came to be when she realized she was in need of a piece of furniture that had not yet been created.

Credenzas, also commonly known as sideboards, are furniture pieces that function as a form of storage and a table surface. Once used primarily as decorative elements in support of dining areas, credenzas now serve a variety of rooms from conference rooms, to living rooms, home offices, and bedrooms.
