Description

Like other longhaired pointers, the German Longhaired Pointer is a multipurpose pointer excelling well in retrieving game, tracking, pointing, and search and rescue missions. The calm and family-oriented characteristics make it a good pet, while the fiery and versatility make it a passionate hunter. It is native to Germany and identified by its athletic body and quick speed, webbed feet, medium length with somewhat solid brown or liver roan color, and some feathery on the large dropping ears and back of legs and long tail. It prefers company and may need lots of exercises. Hence, it is common in dog sports.
