German Wirehaired Pointer

Seated and standing side and front elevation drawings of the German Wirehaired Pointer dog breed
Description
Description

The German Wirehaired Pointer facial furnishing is its most distinguishable feature. Shaggy beard and whiskers of medium length cover their faces, giving them a worldly expression and their versatile body depicts self-assuredness. The German Wirehaired Pointer was previously reared as a hunting dog because of its heightened sense of smell to track items either on land or water bodies, which is made easy by its weather-resistant and water-repellent coat. The dog's balanced in size, possesses a sturdy built, webbed foot, and a shorter tail. The dog is heavier and taller than the German Shorthaired Pointer and thrives in human companionship, but not to lounge around.
