Hugh Jackman is an Australian actor. Born in Sydney, Australia, in 1951 when he later trained as an actor. His first job was on an Australian television series, Corelli, which is where he met his future wife, Deborah Lee-Furness. His Hollywood breakout role was as Wolverine in the X-Men series, for which he holds the Guiness World Record for the most appearances as a Marvel superhero. He is also a musical theatre star,  and has appeared as Jean Valjean in the film version of Les Miserables, and as P.T Barnum in The Greatest Showman.
