Jack Nicklaus is a retired American professional golfer. Jack Nicklaus turned professional in 1961 and is considered to be one of the greatest golfers of all time.  He was nicknamed, “The Golden Bear” due to this blonde hair and physical appearance. Throughout the span of his career he won 117 professional tournaments, won 18 major championships, and competed in 164 major tournaments. While playing, Jack Nicklaus was known for his course management skills, planning his shots, and was one of the longest and straightest hitters. Jack Nicklaus has designed multiple golf courses and written various golfing books.
