Description
Description

In hunting, the Karelian Bear Dog is a master hunter. Thanks to its build, quick reflexes, fearless nurture, and quick sense of smell. The dog is native to Finland, where it is a national treasure and gets its name from its ability to hunt bears. The medium-sized spitz dog has a dense coat with black and white color being the standard. The triangular ears are erect, while the bushy tail with a white tip may curl over the back or fall gently onto its behind. It may look scary with its fox-like face, but the dog is loyal, courageous, independent, and persistent. However, it may be territorial towards other dogs.
