Description

The Labrador Retriever, also known as a Labrador or Lab, is a retriever-gun dog that is highly popular in many countries around the world. Known for their obedience, loyalty, and playful composure, Labrador Retrievers are often trained as aid dogs for those with blindness or autism, or they act as therapy dogs. The Labrador Retriever’s coat is short, dense, and water-resistant, and color variations include black (solid black), yellow (cream to fox-red), and chocolate (medium to dark brown). They are also distinguished by their slightly pronounced eyebrows, brown or hazel eyes, and ears that hang close to the head.
