Laura Davies is an English professional golfer and is currently considered the most the accomplished female golfer in England. Laura Davies started playing golf at the age of 11 and turned professional in 1985 at the age of 21. She is very competitive, has more than 85 wins worldwide, and won the 1987 U.S. Open, the 1994 and 1996 PGA Championships. In 1994 she became the first golfer to win on 5 different golf tours in one year: the US, Europe, Asia, Japan, and Australia. Laura Davies has also worked in TV as a commentator.
