Lindsey Vonn is an American former World Cup Alpine ski racer who is known for winning 4 World Cup championships. She is the 1 of the 2 female skiers to achieve this feat and earned 3 consecutive titles in 2008, 2009, and 2010. Lindsey Vonn was also the first American woman to win the Olympic gold medal in Downhill Skiing at the 2010 Winter Olympics. She has won over 82 World Cup races and is 1 of the 6 women to win a World Cup race in all 5 disciplines of Alpine Skiing. Lindsey Vonn retired in February of 2019.
