Luka Dončić has more European awards than NBA awards, probably because of his nationality (Slovenian) and his earlier club Real Madrid, which he joined from Union Olimpija. He won the EuroLeague MVP and Final Four MVP. His other accolades include ACB Best Young Player awards, EuroLeague Rising Star, and ACB Most Valuable Player awards. Now playing for the Mavericks, he is regarded as a positionless guard exhibited by his strength and size in the guard position. Being the best International and European prospect in the NBA, Dončić’s heavier set does not prevent him from doing prolific shots, floaters, three-pointers, and mid-range jumps and being practical with a down-to-earth personality.
