Marcel Nguyen is not just a German artistic gymnast, but also a soldier. In the 2011 European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships, he won the silver medal in the all-around and parallel bars category and repeated the same success in the European Championship and Olympics of 2012. Marcel was also a team member that helped Germany win the bronze medal in the 2007 World Artistic Gymnastic Championship and gold in the European Men's Artistic Gymnastic Championship in 2010. Besides registering success in the Olympics, he has been German Junior champion on parallel bars, second on the ring, and third on vault.
