Description

While some gymnasts are famous for winning several gold medals, American gymnast and actor Mitch Gaylord is renowned for having two of his moves: the Gaylord II and Gaylord flip added into the Olympic games. Besides, he won the all-around USA Gymnastics National Championship and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Men's Gymnastics Championship in his rookie years. These successes have granted him admission into four Halls of Fame, such as the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame. He is also recognized for leading the U.S. men's gymnastic team to win gold in the 1984 Olympics and his silver medals from the vault, bronze from parallel bars, bronze from the rings, and five gold medals from the Maccabiah games.
