Description
Description

Intelligent, courageous, and strong-willed are a few characteristics that you can use to describe the Mountain Cur. It has origins in the United States. This is an all-purpose working dog capable of being used as a farm dog, treeing, trailing small game, or water dog. The coat is usually short with black, blue, brown, or yellow coloration. The dog is medium-sized and well-proportioned. His tail is medium-length as the ears are dropped with a round tip while the large brown eyes draw attention. It easily responds to human contact and direction. Early pioneers and settlers found it useful in guarding and watching.
