Description
Description

The Onda Stool (Counter) is a sculptural counter-height seat distinguished by its flowing, wave-shaped profile and slender metal support structure. Created by Jesús Gasca for STUA in 2006, the design takes its name from the Spanish word for "wave," referring to the organic curvature of the seat. Its molded seating surface is shaped to accommodate the body, while an integrated footrest provides additional support at counter height.

Chrome or stainless steel elements contrast with the softer appearance of the polypropylene or upholstered seat, producing a balanced composition of materials. Commonly paired with kitchen islands and breakfast counters, the Onda Stool combines ergonomic shaping, visual lightness, and a distinctive contemporary European design language.
