Description
Description

The Pacific white-sided dolphin is an energetic and acrobatic dolphin grouped under the family Delphinidae. They prefer the deep offshore waters of the North Pacific ocean. These vertebrates are a genuine beauty with their sturdy bodies covered in shades and tones of black, white, and silvery colors. They also spot stubby beaks, tall, curved bi-colored distinctive dorsal fins, and large rounded flippers. They are very showy, social, love traveling in large groups, and not frightened to hang out with other species or even approaching boats. Pacific white-sided dolphins are also kept in dolphinaria for scientific research and marine theme park shows.
